In fact, the OSUCCC – James is consistently paving the way in leading-edge therapies and discoveries, leading to even more highly targeted care and treatment.

Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Risk Factors

Anything that increases the chance of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) is a risk factor.

NHL risk factors include:

  • Having an inherited immune disorder known as Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome
  • Having HIV/AIDS
  • Taking immunosuppressant drugs after an organ transplant
  • Past radiation treatment
  • Having a relative with Lymphoma or Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

These risk factors are slight, and not everyone with a risk will develop Hodgkin’s lymphoma. If you have risk factors, however, it’s important to talk with your doctor.
