COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 5-mile and 2K fun run/walk charity event will benefit multiple myeloma research at the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University. The annual walk will begin at 8 a.m. Sept. 14 at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Stadium, 2450 Fred Taylor Dr. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of the bone marrow.
All proceeds will benefit MoveMMORE, a myeloma research and education group that is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for multiple myeloma research at The James.
Registration fee prior to the event is $30 for the 5-mile run and $25 for the 2K fun run. Day-of registration is $35 for the 5-mile run and $30 for the 2K fun run.
Prizes include Cameron Mitchell Restaurant gift certificates, six free personal training sessions, and a pair of Buckeye football tickets. In addition, a prize drawing will take place for all participants who turn in $100 or more in donations above their registration fee.
