Beam Signings for New James Cancer Hospital, Critical Care Center

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The final steel beams of the new James Cancer Hospital and
Solove Research Institute and Critical Care Center will be raised on May 21 – an important milestone in building the future of medicine in central Ohio.

The beams – which are part of the $1.1 billion expansion project at The Ohio State
University Wexner Medical Center – will be traveling around Columbus and will be available for the public to sign at:

  • April 21: 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., FanFest area of Ohio State's Spring Football Game
  • April 24: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., University Hospital East
  • May 10: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., Easton Town Center in the Station Building
  • May 16: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Ohio Statehouse West Plaza
  • May 17: noon – 6 p.m., Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center
