Patient and Caregiver Support Groups

Support groups offer encouragement, education and information to cancer patients, families and friends in a safe and caring environment. Groups also provide an opportunity for survivors to discuss their concerns, learn how to increase their coping skills and share support with others in similar situations.

JamesCare for Life support groups are facilitated by licensed healthcare professionals from The James. Call 614-293-6428 or 1-800-293-5066 to confirm group times and locations or to request additional information.

Cancer Connect:  Many people affected by cancer form meaningful connections online. The James has collaborated with Omni Health Media by joining their newly developed online social media community called Cancer Connect. Cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and advocates can participate in more than 60 disease-specific national communities or take part in discussions with only members of The James network. Members can learn from cancer experts, ask questions, share experiences and connect with others in a secure, confidential environment. Join The James Cancer Connect community at www.cancerconnect.com/thejames.
