The OSUCCC – James Annual Scientific Meeting provides our Comprehensive Cancer Center members and other faculty, researchers and staff the opportunity to share programmatic research efforts, advance new ideas for projects, foster principal investigator interactions, identify opportunities for new collaborations and highlight and celebrate some of the most successful projects over the prior year.
The audience comprises basic scientists, clinicians, translational researchers, residents, fellows, postdoctoral and graduate students and other cancer program staff.
One of the highlights of the meeting is a poster session that allows researchers to present their work, review others’ work, interact and collaborate.
Speakers range from Ohio State’s prominent researchers and scientific program leaders to renowned cancer researchers from around the world. Inviting external scientists also creates an opportunity for possible collaboration in the future.
Annual Scientific Meeting presentations promote our education mission by providing a unique learning environment for faculty, researchers, fellows and staff to learn from and interact with Ohio State and external experts—many of whom are leaders in their field of study.
