Lab Manager Checklist/Responsibilities

Chemical Hygiene Plan

All labs must have an annually updated Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP).

Visit this link  for instructions on creating your CHP.

Select “CHP Quick Reference Guide” under Documents (right side column) for an overview of the process.

Select “Login to Chemical Hygiene Plan” to create, store, review, manage, and print your CHP. Use your OSU login credentials (lastname.#) to enter the site.

Lab Inspection Checklist and Responding to Deficiencies. 

Follow link and select appropriate files under Documents (right side column). 

Select “Web Based Inspection Response Checklist” for instructions on responding to inspection deficiencies.

PI’s/managers are responsible for creating a corrective action plan using the EHS Assist system no more than 15 days following notice of deficiencies (email will be sent to PI). The above checklist has full instructions.
