Cancer Research Programs

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center –Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James) has six highly interactive cancer research programs that include more than 250 leading cancer researchers and scientists from 11 of the 13 colleges at The Ohio State University. Unprecedented programmatic funding and the recently announced $1 billion expansion of the cancer hospital, clinics and laboratories have fostered growth of scientific programs and the development of shared resources.

Shared Resources

The 18 Shared Resources provide investigators with easy access to specialized technologies, services, methodologies and consultation that catalyze abilities to conduct cancer research. Through the leadership of skilled faculty and technicians, these shared resources provide cost-effective, reliable and quality services for our researchers.

Clinical Trials

We are one of only five centers in the nation to be approved for Phase I and Phase II clinical trials. With the depth and breadth of our clinical, laboratory and population-based research programs and with an emphasis on transdisciplinary translational research, the OSUCCC-James facilitates investigator-initiated early phase clinical trials and participates in many cooperative groups.
