Research Description
My research focuses include building computational models in order to understand the mechanism of cancer cells and identify the functional elements in genome sequences, performing cluster analysis in order to recognize gene expression patterns, as well as consultation with scientists on experimental design and data collection, analysis of biological data for cancer research projects by adopting new methodologies. One of my major achievements in this research field is that I am the leading author to develop a computational genomics approach to discover regulatory modules in cancer cells and further to decipher the logic of regulatory networks in cancers, where the results were published on Genome Research, 16, 1585-1595 (2006), 17, 807-817 (2007), Molecular Cell 21, 393-404 (2006), Cancer Research 68, 9654-9662 (2008), 64, 8184-8192 (2004), Nucleic Acids Research 32, 6627-6635 (2004) and Journal of Molecular Endocrinology 35, 225-230 (2005).
