  • Cancer Control

Research Description

My overarching interest is to develop a further understanding of the association of inflammation and cancer; specifically through the study of substances and genes hypothesized to affect inflammation. I have been involved in the study of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and the risk of several cancers including breast, prostate, lung, uterus, and hematologic malignancies. In addition, I have an expanding interest in the study of diet and dietary supplements, components of which may affect inflammatory processes, and their association with cancer risk and survival.
