Research Description

Dr. McRee's research focuses on adolescence as an important opportunity for health promotion and disease prevention. Her cancer-relevant research interests are in the prevention of human papillomavirus (HPV) though adolescent vaccination. In this area, she has conducted research on vaccine acceptability and uptake across a variety of populations (including parents, adolescent boys and girls, and gay and bisexual men), and preferences for HPV vaccine delivery (e.g., alternative settings such as schools and pharmacies).
