Pharmacogenomics of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and CNS disorders. Link to the OSU Program in Pharmacogenomics: http://pharmacogenomics.osu.edu/.

Research Description

Wolfgang Sadee is a Professor of Pharmacology. His research focuses on individual variability in gene expression, as a main cause of genetic differences in drug response and toxicity. His laboratory also uses chemogenomics approaches in drug discovery and biomarker development

Transinstitutional Work

The Program in Pharmacogenomics supports multiple clinical trials, initiated upon discovery of novel regulatory polymorphisms with likely clinical relevance. Clinicla trials are ongoing with collaborators at the OSU CCC, the OSU Dorothy Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute and with multiple sites extramurally.
