Research Description

My lab has worked on characterization of signaling pathways regulating self-renewal of neural stem cells and brain tumor stem cells. In particular, we have focused on identification of target molecules that eradicate brain tumor stem cells without affecting behaviour of neural stem cells. Our future goal is to contribute to improvement of prognosis of patients with brain tumors using our novel therapies.
