In collaboration with the Office of Postdoctoral Research and the Research Institute Training Office at Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Pelotonia Fellowship Program is excited to announce the 2013 Postdoc Recruitment Event
This two-day event will provide an opportunity for outstanding postdocs to meet and interview with our distinguished research faculty to discover the breadth of exciting and innovative research taking place at The Ohio State University and the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
In addition, the Pelotonia Fellowship Program will provide two year fellowships to candidates with exceptional qualifications that match with an OSU investigator working on cancer related projects. Application for cancer relevant fellowships is open to all postdocs, regardless of nationality.
More information about this event, including application forms and a schedule of events, can be accessed by visiting: go.osu.edu/postdocrecruitInformation for mentors
To receive funding from the Pelotonia Fellowship Program, you must meet the following criteria:
• Have space and support to fund an innovative cancer relevant project
• Have an outstanding training record
• Pay a $10,000 annual matching contribution to The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Pelotonia Fellowship Program for each awarded fellowship. Options for fulfilling this requirement are numerous. We suggest this be split between the mentor and the mentor’s home department but may come from any combination of funds from the college, department, mentor’s lab or development funds etc. This generally is not an allowable expense on grants.
