A Rooftop Affair was an evening of celebration. Taking in the cityscapes and sounds -- more than 1,000 guests enjoyed a night and a cause to remember while raising more than $450,000 for human cancer genetics research at Ohio State's Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
Since its inception in 1994, the Up on the Roof event has raised almost $4 million.
During the cocktail reception, guests enjoyed cocktails and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres. The rooftop-style dining room revealed the illusion and elegance of being atop a downtown skyscraper. Just before dinner, David Schuller, MD, and Michael Caligiuri, MD, highlighted the latest in technology and research in human cancer genetics happening right here at The James. After the program, guests enjoyed music and a delectable dinner. Festivities continued with live music, dancing and, of course, the viewing of an OSU Football victory!
