Communicating with Elected Officials

Elected officials need your input to make informed decisions on healthcare legislations.

Communicating the unique needs of our patients, survivors, researchers, nurses and physicians is a major part of the Government Affairs team's mission. E-mails and letters from constituents are one of the most effective ways to help put our requests in perspective. If you want to be a part of efforts on any of our issues, please use the US Congress's website to contact your senators and representative. To contact state officials please use the Ohio General Assembly's website.

If you know of a legislative matter that you feel the OSUCCC-James should be aware of and take a position on, please let us know.
Please fill out our Cancer Program form if you would like our department to review a legislative matter and adopt a position regarding pending legislation.  Please email this form to cancer.advocacy@osumc.edu.

Please contact us to talk with a staff member about becoming more involved in Government Affairs at The James.
