In 2022, funds from Pelotonia, the annual cycling event that raises millions of dollars for cancer research at Ohio State, funded seven areas of endeavor.

    In 2022, funds from Pelotonia, the annual cycling event that raises millions of dollars for cancer research at Ohio State, funded seven areas of endeavor, including a Scholars Program for Ohio State students conducting research with faculty mentors, Idea Grants for teams of faculty researchers, recruitment research support, the purchase of research equipment, the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO), statewide outreach initiatives aimed at cancer prevention, and strategic research investments such as the Drug Development Institute, digital pathology and the Total Cancer Care® protocol.
