Frontiers Spring 2021

Amid the turbulence of 2020, Ohio State’s cancer program also marked the end of an era with the passing of two internationally renowned research titans — Clara D. Bloomfield, MD, and Albert de la Chapelle, MD, PhD — a married couple who came to the OSUCCC – James in 1997 and, over nearly a quarter century, helped it achieve acclaim as an elite cancer institution.

This issue features tributes to both researchers, as well as information on a new study that seeks to understand the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination in cancer patients and survivors, a spotlight on the OSUCCC Clinical Translational Science Shared Resource and more.
