impactCancer Summer 2012

Welcome

At The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, we are grateful to everyone who supports our cause, whether through monetary donations or the gifts of time, energy and talent. Without this support, we would not be able to conduct the research that is helping us create a cancer-free world.

We especially owe gratitude to a select group of families who believe so much in our work that they have chosen The James as the recipient of their legacies of giving. In this issue of impactCancer, you’ll read about one of those families, Michael and Janis Bloch, whose dedication to our cause began more than 30 years ago and continues to grow. Their help, along with gifts large and small from many others, is helping The James play a pivotal role in the global war on cancer.
