Kroger and 1460 The Fan Supports Our Team!

Tailgating is a favorite pastime of Buckeye fans. Through the camaraderie of good friends and good food, it’s one way to gear up to support our teams. Support a very important team dedicated to fighting cancer by purchasing the 1460 The Fan Tailgate Cookbook, offered exclusively by Kroger.

The cookbook, featuring recipes from Jim Tressel, Archie Griffin, Thad Matta and other favorite Buckeye celebrities, benefits the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

In addition to the cookbook, Kroger is donating a portion of proceeds from a special OSU cutting board to the Spielman Fund. Throughout October, Kroger will also donate proceeds from a pink tag sale on specially marked items and donation ribbons will be available at check-out counters benefiting the Spielman Fund.

Over the years, the Kroger team has been a strong supporter of The James and the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, including past special promotions – such as last year’s eco-bag – pink tag sales and much more. Through your generous support of Kroger’s breast cancer campaigns, you are helping to further advancements in breast cancer research.

1460 The Fan has also been a wonderful support to the fund. Their commitment to advancing the fight against breast cancer is making a difference through activities such as The Spielman Scramble, the cookbook and others.
