The eighth annual Celebration for Life dinner was held Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Smith & Wollensky at Easton Town Center. Judy and Steve Tuckerman created the event to support The James Fund for Life – established through the leadership and support of philanthropists Abigail and Leslie Wexner – to purchase new technology and further research at OSUCCC – James. Stefanie and Chris Spielman served as honorary chairs for this year’s dinner.
At the event, The James displayed its new advanced digital mobile mammography unit. Dedicated in honor of Stefanie and Chris Spielman, the unit was purchased with proceeds from Celebration for Life 2007 and The James Annual Fund.
