Breast Cancer Take Action Month: Double Your Impact

The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute is focused on finding the best methods of breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment for those battling breast cancer.

How do we do that? We are continually innovating and improving our research methods. An invaluable resource for our research is the Spielman Breast Cancer Tumor Bank. This tumor bank allows us to collect and archive breast cancer tumors so that we can quickly analyze, examine and determine the best course of treatment that corresponds with an individual’s specific tumor.

You can help by taking action and getting involved. It takes only one person to start a movement. Chris Spielman, former Ohio State and NFL football great, and co-founder of the Spielman Fund, is kick-starting this movement by matching all donations to the Spielman Fund (up to $10,000) during October.

You can easily demonstrate your dedication to advancing not just breast cancer awareness but breast cancer research by making a donation to the Spielman Fund and encouraging others to do the same. Your donation, of any size, will be doubled and will have twice the impact.

All we need for you to do is take action! Give today and double your impact on the lives of those affected by breast cancer. When we take action, we are doing more than creating awareness; we are creating a cancer-free world.
