James researchers are working to increase the understanding of the effects of e-cigarettes — and smokers may be able to help. As the popularity of vaping continues to grow, OSUCCC – James researchers, led by Dr. Peter Shields, will study the impact of e-cigs on smokers through the participation of volunteers. Participants will be asked to continue to smoke their preferred cigarettes, switch to e-cigarettes or attempt to quit smoking through nicotine replacement therapy. Smokers between the ages of 21 and 45 are encouraged to contact the research team at Ecig-study@osumc.edu or 1-844-744-2447 for information on participation in the study.
