An Ohio State nursing leader will contribute her expertise to a major national organization. Kris Mathey, MS, APRN-CNP, AONCP, a James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute nurse practitioner and manager of the James APP Fellowship, has been elected to the Oncology Nursing Society Board of Directors. Mathey's term will officially being April 30th at the ONS Congress. The ONS Board of Directors is a dedicated group of professionals who serve three-year terms and meet monthly to guide the strategic direction of the Society. Together, they represent decades of experience in oncology nursing clinical care, education, research, and leadership. At the time of  Mathey's selection, she was acknowledged for her lifelong devotion to oncology nursing and ONS.
