What is Mesothelioma?
Mesothelioma is a disease in which cancer cells form in the thin layer of tissue surrounding various organs in the chest and abdomen.
Mesothelioma may also form in the heart or testicles, but this is rare. It is estimated that about 3,000 people are diagnosed with mesothelioma each year in the United States.
