Annual Sickle Cell Program 2019: Making a Difference

Topics will include:

  • Transforming the Natural History of Sickle Cell Anemia: Updates on the latest treatments and research for sickle cell, including gene therapy, will be facilitated by Payal Desai, MD, and Eric Kraut, MD.
  • Santonio Holmes, former Ohio State University and NFL football player, will be part of a panel where he'll share his story as the parent of a child with sickle cell anemia
  • Coping and Living With Loss: Healthy coping strategies for losses both big and small.

You can also participate in this program online via live stream if you are unable to attend in person. Whether attending in person or viewing via live stream, registration is required.

This program, including lunch and parking, is free of charge to sickle cell patients and their caregivers.
