Join other young cancer survivors (ages 18-39) for a weekend retreat in beautiful Hocking Hills. The weekend will provide an opportunity to step outside your normal routine and focus on how relaxation, restoration and reflection can be important coping tools following a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Mindfulness practices, group discussions, hands-on healthy cooking and an afternoon hike to explore Hocking Hills along the miles of scenic trails that feature waterfalls, gorges and caves are just a few of the activities planned for the weekend.

This program is free of charge and designed for young cancer survivors adjusting to life after treatment. All food and transportation is provided. We will depart Friday, October 25, at 4 p.m. and return Sunday, October 27, by 12 p.m.

Space is limited to 15 young survivors who are:

  • Between the ages of 18-39 years
  • At least six months post-treatment (which includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies)
  • Physically capable of withstanding 90-plus minutes of hiking
