I am a surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast cancer, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. I provide care as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, working in conjunction with other oncologists and specialists to ensure an individualized, targeted treatment plan for our patients. I was rated in the top 10 percent of physicians in the nation for patient satisfaction in 2016 and 2017.
Clinical interests of mine include oncoplastic lumpectomy and nipple-sparing mastectomy for the treatment of breast cancer, and minimally invasive inguinal lymph node dissection for the treatment of melanoma and other cancers that have metastasized to the inguinal lymph nodes. I also serve as the local principal investigator on a number of clinical trials, both in development and ongoing, related to the treatment of breast cancer and melanoma.
I serve on the Society of Surgical Oncology Training Committee, and I am an ad hoc reviewer for a number of scientific cancer journals, including the Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. I am also a four-time recipient of the BRAVO Year-End Patient Satisfaction Achievement Award given by The Ohio State University and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
