  • About Me

I am an internist who specializes in the medical management of patients who have been hospitalized due to complications related to their cancer and/or chemotherapy. I received my medical degree from the Universidad De Los Andes in Merida, Venezuela, and completed my residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. My past experience taking care of hospitalized cancer patients at other institutions makes me appreciate the extraordinary and compassionate care that the OSUCCC – James provides to its patients. For instance, The James has dedicated internists like myself closely co-managing complex cases alongside nationally recognized multidisciplinary teams. Furthermore, there are numerous ongoing clinical trials and research labs devoted to finding new ways to tackle cancer that offer patients hope. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the incredible team at The James and look forward to playing a role in helping to achieve our shared goal of creating a cancer-free world.

  • Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the university requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their university responsibilities. As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Faieta has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
