About Me
More info forAs a hematologist at the OSUCCC – James, I specialize in caring for patients with conditions including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, hairy cell leukemia and various forms of lymphoma. My top priority is to provide the best care possible to all my patients. I’m passionate about listening and attending to their unique needs and doing all I can to improve their quality of life. My clinical work fuels my desire to contribute to hematology advancements. Patients and their families inspire me to develop research that can help improve outcomes, and my experience in research has taught me the importance of exploring clinical trial options to enhance care. I’ve developed clinical trials and reported patient outcomes research throughout my career. I have been honored to receive multiple awards for my work, which has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals. I’m interested in further exploring early phase clinical trials that investigate new therapies for leukemias and lymphomas. I’m currently serving as an investigator on several clinical trials here at The James. My role includes helping to train the next generation of physicians as an assistant professor of medicine. I’m also a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer, the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
