About Me
I am a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pathology as well as the Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology. I completed my residency in dermatology at the University of Rochester and my fellowship in dermatopathology at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center.
My interests include cutaneous lymphomas, inflammatory skin disorders and medical education. I am an active member of the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). In addition to pathology, I see patients with cutaneous lymphoma at the OSUCCC – James.

Dr. Chung is fantastic. She is my favorite doctor and I enjoy my yearly check up with her. I always feel heard and she spends enough time during my appt. to make sure that everything is explained thoroughly and to give me time to discuss questions/concerns. I never feel rushed. Also - I just enjoy talking with her because she is so personable and funny!

Always attentive and kind
Dr. Chung is one of the best physicians. She listens to my questions no matter what I has. She respects my not wanting to use steroids even topicals. She respects me as a person and I feel like I am a team member rather than just a patient. She truly cares.

The nurse assistant asked me questions about my condition and I could hear her relay that information to the doctor outside the room in the hallway through the door. I thought it possible that if I was hearing this so we're others in the hallway outside. Also I felt the doctor already had a diagnosis and treatment before she walked into the room. She barely looked at my the spots that are effected.

I see Dr. Catherine Chung for an immune disease. She is fantastic. We communicate thru MyChart. She returns answers to me immediately as possible. A lot of times after regular hours. She not only gives me medical support but emotional support as well.
