At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the university requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their university responsibilities. Dr. Sharp explained everything to my family and I in a way that we could understand. I think his skills as surgeon helped in my recovery process which was relatively pain-free.
This was my fourth prostate biopsy and this was the least amount of post procedure bleeding I have experienced, which I attribute to the skill of the doctor.
I have a good relationship with my physician and I am a nurse; and am a very candid client so we have no issues with communication.
