  • About Me

    I am a surgical oncologist at the OSUCCC – James specializing in treating patients with breast cancer and various skin cancers including melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. I have extensive experience performing procedures including partial and full mastectomy, sentinel node biopsy, wide excision and lymph node dissection. I chose a career in medicine because of the opportunity to combine my love of science with my passion for helping others. I was especially drawn to surgical oncology because of the focus on using scientific advancements to improve treatments and push the entire field of cancer care forward. It is a privilege to be part of such exceptional, multidisciplinary teams here at The James to provide the highest quality care possible to patients with a cancer diagnosis. I am also excited to pursue my research interests in outcomes and clinical trials with a focus on breast cancer and skin cancer. In addition to my clinical and research responsibilities, my role also includes teaching and mentoring the next generation of surgeons. I am a clinical associate professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology. I am also involved with the Society of Surgical Oncology Breast Disease working group and I am a member of the American College of Surgeons.

    I saw a doctor and had tests elsewhere there was no comparison The James was far and above
