I’m a nurse practitioner in the Division of Medical Oncology at The James. I specialize in the medical management of patients with genitourinary malignancies, working together with surgery and radiation oncology to provide multidisciplinary team care. I have over 20 years of experience in the field and have seen the results of improved care through clinical trials and the excellent treatment options that the OSUCCC – James offers. We provide up-to-date, individualized care during the patient’s journey – from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship – through networking with the hospital’s various departments, including surgery, radiation, interventional radiology, pharmacy, medication assistance, impatient services, social work, financial services and palliative care. I work with the best group of providers, nurses and ancillary staff that you can find at the OSUCCC – James, and their dedication and hard work is incredibly motivating. It makes me want to be an even better nurse, which is why I was honored to receive the James Excellence Award in 2005. Outside of my duties at The James, I’m involved in yearly APP service initiatives with the Ohio Food Bank, YMCA, Columbus Cancer Clinic and more.
