I’m a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of head and neck cancers, including new chemo-radiation techniques, immunotherapy and management of patients with recurrent or metastatic cancers. I received my medical training at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine and I completed fellowships at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. I served as a resident at the University of Paris XI in France, as well other hospitals in London, Argentina and the United States.
I’ve been published in journals such as Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer and The Oncologist. My research focuses on treatment methods for head and neck cancers and the complexities associated with these procedures. I have also presented at conferences, symposiums and universities. Currently, I serve as a visiting associate professor in Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University.
What I enjoy most about working at the OSUCCC – James is the multidisciplinary approach we take to treating each patient. Not only do patients meet with surgeons and oncologists, but they also meet with speech therapists, nutritionists and social workers to ensure their recovery both before and after treatment. At The James, there is no routine cancer. I am proud to work with other dedicated medical professionals toward a cancer-free world.
