As a palliative care physician, I provide personalized, family-centered care for people living with serious illnesses. I specialize in helping my patients manage their symptoms to give them the highest quality of life possible while they are undergoing treatment for their serious illness. I have extensive experience helping families navigate the important conversations that are needed for advance care planning. This can be an especially emotional and challenging time, and my hope is to provide compassionate care that helps guide patients and their families when faced with those tough decisions. I chose this field because it is a privilege to get to know these patients and their families. I appreciate the opportunity to learn about their lives and understand how their serious illness has affected them. My goal is to give them the most comfortable experience possible during these times. In addition to my clinical work, I am an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. I also currently serve as core resident liaison between the Division of Palliative Medicine and Internal Medicine residents.
