Ning Jin, MD
Academic Title: Associate Professor in the College of Medicine
About Me
More info forI am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, particularly esophageal cancer, small intestine cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer and hepatobiliary cancer. There is an unmet need to develop personalized treatments for GI cancers, especially for esophageal and pancreatic cancer. As a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, my research interests include the resistance mechanism to chemotherapies and biological agents, molecular targeted therapy for precision medicine and novel immunotherapies in combination with standard chemotherapies for GI cancers. In addition to my clinical work, I am an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Association for Cancer Research. As someone who emphasizes patient care and strives to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes, the OSUCCC – James is a great place to work, especially due to its collaborative culture. At The James, we’re focused on providing each patient with an individualized care program that is tailored to their specific needs while also working with fellow researchers to achieve our goal of a cancer-free world.

Consulting and Related Relationships
More info forAt The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the university requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their university responsibilities. As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Jin has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
