I specialize in delivering clinical medical oncology care to breast cancer patients in all stages of their disease.
Breast cancer does not discriminate, and the experience of breast cancer and its treatment is a very personal journey. I’m especially passionate about the quality of life of my patients. As such, I have a special research interest in the survivorship experience of young women and metastatic breast cancer patients. I’m actively involved in the Breast Cancer Survivorship Program at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.
I also focus on the development of symptom-intervention clinical trials designed to address the diverse needs of the breast cancer survivor population. For example, I’m actively exploring the role of next generation sequencing in predicting the therapy-related symptom, aromatase inhibitor-induced arthralgias. My collaborative research efforts to date have resulted in multiple publications and presentations at national and international meetings.
Like so many of the team members at The James, I consider myself honored to walk on this path with my patients and strive to improve their experience both during and after cancer therapy. Whether it’s through innovative collaborative research, dedicated and expert disease teams, or cutting edge therapies, all of us at the OSUCCC – James diligently work to personalize an individual’s experience of total cancer care.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the university requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their university responsibilities. As of 3/28/2017, Dr. Reinbolt has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
