  • About Me

I am a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in treating patients with cutaneous lymphoma and other types of skin cancer. I received my medical and doctorate degrees from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School at Houston/M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as part of the NIH-funded Medical Scientist Training Program. I completed my internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I believe in taking the time to listen and understand my patients’ unique stories and needs in order to tailor treatments that fit their lifestyle. I also enjoy educating my patients on the different types of skin cancer and ensure that they have access to the most up-to-date and innovative treatment options, including clinical trials. My immunotherapy research in melanoma has been published in several prestigious journals, and I have been invited to give oral presentations on these findings at international and national medical conferences. In addition to my clinical and research work, I serve as an assistant professor in the Division of Medical Oncology at the OSUCCC – James.

He thoroughly explained the situation and my options and was completely engaged in my questions. I feel we came to the best path forward fopr my treatment.I am comfortable with our path forward and very glad I came to Wexler for a second opinion.
