About Me
More info forI am a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers. My goal is to improve my patients’ lives by providing personalized, compassionate care and the most scientifically advanced treatments available. As a physician-scientist, I work with researchers in the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology to study cancer in the laboratory and to develop novel immunotherapies for patients with genitourinary cancers. My research focuses on tumor biology, immunology and genomic medicine, with a particular interest in understanding how sex chromosomes, testosterone and estrogen impact the immune response to cancer. I am a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. I received a Conquer Cancer Young Investigator Award (YIA) from ASCO to support my ongoing research. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature, Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, Endocrinology, and the British Journal of Pharmacology.
