More info forI am a member of the Cancer Biology Program at the OSUCCC – James, where my research focuses on developing and implementing tools to study protein post-translational modifications.
In particular, I explore protein lipidations such as palmitoylation, myristoylation and prenylation, as well as protein ubiquitination.
One of my recent studies, a mass-tag labeling method to analyze endogenous levels of protein S-fatty acylation in cells, should help quantitative studies of this regulated and dynamic lipid modification.
I have co-authored numerous articles in well-respected publications, including Virology, PLOS Pathogens and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
