About Me
More info forI am an assistant professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences at The Ohio State University College of Public Health and a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, where I specialize in understanding cancer etiology in populations.
My research focuses on tobacco-related harm and cancers in both observational and experimental study designs. I work to understand how differences among genes and environmental/lifestyle factors can aid in identifying biomarkers of effects, with the ultimate of controlling and preventing such cancers as lung, breast, colorectal and hepatocellular carcinoma.
I have co-authored several publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Frontiers in Immunology, New England Journal of Medicine, Cancer Prevention Research, and American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
