Melanoma

Who We Are

Bench-to-bedside clinical research is being conducted at the OSUCCC — James to improve prevention, detection and treatment of melanoma.

The nationally and internationally recognized melanoma research team at the OSUCCC – James spans a broad range of disciplines — medical, surgical and radiation oncologists; dermatologists; radiologists; pharmacists; pathologists; and geneticists — each specializing in specific areas of melanoma research.

It’s that sub-specialization and singular focus that enables this team to discover, develop and deliver research outcomes that lead to the most advanced surgical treatments, refined clinical procedures and highly targeted, precision therapies for each patient, which can mean improved outcomes, faster responses, fewer side effects and even more hope for melanoma patients everywhere.
