Center for Tobacco Research

Opportunities

The OSUCCC – James Center for Tobacco Research is dedicated to training the next generation of tobacco researchers. Over the last five years, CTR post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students have gone on to prestigious graduate programs, clinical internships, residencies, post-doctoral fellowships, and faculty positions.

Trainees are involved in ongoing research studies, and they have opportunities to propose mentored research projects, contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, and pursue additional training and career development. We have dedicated education and training focused on tobacco research, and the OSUCCC – James and the Ohio State University provide complementary research mentoring, education, and training resources.

For information about available training opportunities, please email ccc-tobacco@osumc.edu with a copy of your resume/CV, a brief statement of your research experience and interests, and the type of training opportunity you are seeking (e.g., post-doctoral training) and our team will contact you regarding available opportunities.
