The Keller-Hamilton Lab’s world-renowned research experts work collaboratively to interrupt the trajectory of tobacco use from initiation to regular use and dependence. The goal is to examine how public policy can reduce tobacco use overall and in populations that currently see disparately high levels of tobacco use.
To accomplish this, Dr. Keller-Hamilton and her team of research experts apply observational epidemiology and clinical trial methods to identify tobacco control regulations that will equitably reduce the prevalence of tobacco use. Specifically, the team is interested in regulations aimed at tobacco marketing and at characteristics of the product itself.
