The OSUCCC – James Mundy-Bosse Lab team is led by nationally recognized tumor immunology expert Bethany Mundy-Bosse, PhD. Dr. Mundy-Bosse is an Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology at The Ohio State University and a member of the Leukemia and Hematologic Malignancies Program at the OSUCCC – James.
Dr. Mundy-Bosse has authored and co-authored publications in many scientific journals, including Journal of Clinical Investigation, Cell Reports, Blood, Immunity, Nature Immunology and Journal of Immunology.
This team comprises collaborative research experts who take a unique approach to studying hematological malignancies by understanding how the immune system is built, why those building blocks are disrupted and how to intervene to improve immunity in patients with hematologic malignancies.
The Mundy-Bosse Lab is uniquely poised to study the building blocks of immune dysfunction both in normal hematopoiesis and in the setting of malignancies. While other research often concentrates on the end-point, this team of research specialists focuses on the immune system’s development and how it is disrupted when cancer is present.
The Mundy-Bosse Lab is team-centric, believing that collaboration is essential to successful research that will improve immune-based therapeutics.
