Mission
At the OSUCCC – James, the researchers in the Tackett Lab examine the use of new and emerging tobacco and e-cigarette products among youth and young adults. Our studies often incorporate self-report data and objective measurement to examine toxicant exposure, respiratory health, and other health effects that may be associated with use of e-cigarettes, cigarettes, and other tobacco products.
Our team is passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of researchers and psychologists interested in improving the health of young people. Together, with our research and team, we aim to contribute scientific knowledge to support effective regulation of tobacco products to support and improve public health.
