Radiation Therapy Technology Program

Ohio State's Radiologic Sciences and Therapy Program was designed to train radiation therapy professionals for the health care industry.

Radiation Therapy Technology Program

The field of medical imaging has never been more promising. Today's advanced technology allows imaging professionals to provide more precise test results that in turn improve patients’ lives with more accurate diagnoses. Additionally the use of targeted radiation therapy can treat and potentially eliminate disease.

Ohio State's Radiologic Sciences and Therapy Program was designed to train those professionals needed in the health care industry. Our bachelor's degree program is unlike other training as it combines freshman and sophomore general courses with the specializations and clinical practice that makes our graduates more marketable.

Curriculum

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) is in the Ohio State University College of Medicine. For more than five decades, SHRS has prepared undergraduate students to achieve personal and professional excellence, as they pursue an exciting career in health care.

Learn more about the curriculum:

The Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy's Bachelor's of Science Degree Completion Program is designed for students who are certified in a primary radiologic sciences discipline and are in good standing with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

The program allows radiation science professionals to earn credit for their previous college education. Although some course work may be completed online, this is not a distance education program.
