Destination Medicine Program for Adrenal Cancer

Partnering with Destination Medicine Global Health Care at the OSUCCC – James, the Comprehensive Adrenal Program team works steadfastly to ensure that distance and language are no obstacles to receiving the internationally recognized care available only here at The James. This means we are able to serve patients locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, making our world-class treatments and interventions available not just for Ohioans but also for patients who may live out of state or outside of the United States.

Undeterred by the barriers often associated with distance and language, the Program’s world-renowned team of research scientists and physicians recognize that that there are still more obstacles to care: many patients diagnosed with rare and devastating adrenal cancers may not be healthy enough or have the resources to travel. Working collaboratively, the Comprehensive Adrenal Program team has access to advanced capabilities that clinicians and researchers — whether down the hall, in a different building or on opposite sides of the globe — to share and review materials instantly, then assess and contribute valuable insights that ultimately lead to a more informed, more detailed diagnosis and personalized care plans for each patient, regardless of location.

If you have been diagnosed with an adrenal disorder or adrenal cancer, would like a second opinion or would like to speak with a specialist on the Comprehensive Adrenal Program team, please call 614-293-7171 to make an appointment.
