Head and Neck Cancer Treatment Team

    The OSUCCC – James head and neck cancer treatment team is made up of world-renowned subspecialists dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancers. Our multi-disciplinary team employs a collaborative approach to ensure comprehensive cancer care no matter where you are in your cancer journey.

    We operate the only dedicated Head and Neck Cancer Oncology Clinic in the region. Our team excels in understanding and treating these specific cancers with the most advanced therapies available.

    Our multi-disciplinary team consists of over 200 specialists, each playing an important role in supporting you from diagnosis to survivorship.

    This includes:

    • Surgical oncologists – perform precise surgical interventions to remove head and neck cancers
    • Radiation Oncologists – deliver targeted radiation therapy to destroy cancer cells to treat specific cancers
    • Medical Oncologists – administer chemotherapy and other drug therapies to treat your condition
    • Advanced Practice Providers – nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide expert clinical care and patient management
    • Nurses – offer compassionate care and support throughout cancer diagnosis and treatment
