Digital and Computational Pathology

Digital Pathology Publications

The digital pathology experts at the OSUCCC – James provide invaluable data and information that leads to groundbreaking research.

A major benefit of having one of the world’s leading and largest digital pathology programs is the impact the OSUCCC – James can have on research and medical advances.

Digital pathology has expanded our research capabilities, allowing our researchers to assemble cohorts more rapidly, inquire about larger volumes of cases and explore specimens more deeply, quickly and accurately than ever before.

Our digital pathology team, with each member possessing a specialized focus and background, publishes dozens of research findings annually. Some of these publications detail how the OSUCCC – James has built and utilized a successful digital pathology program while others look at clinical uses of the technology, such as analyzing suspicious-looking areas of biopsies to predict prostate cancer.

Here, you’ll find some of that groundbreaking work.
